Hurdy Gurdy Ye Olde Radio Museum, pen, 2016
The Hurdy Gurdy Ye Olde Radio Museum is a volunteer run museum dedicated to radio sets. It is based in an old Martello Tower overlooking the fishing village of Howth, outside Dublin City. Marconi broadcast from this tower at one stage. The pen was made to mark the 100th anniversary of the first broadcast in Ireland…during the Easter Rising in April 1916.
